….The two musicians were outstanding on their instruments, displaying great creativity and ingenuity in the arrangements of the music, which was a beautiful balance of classical and jazz with a touch of the tone of folk music….

— Lene Holt Nielsen, organist, Hammer Church

…. And what a show! The duo was constantly sneaking in musical changes of pace, introducing new instruments, bringing in balloons, and sharing funny anecdotes!🎉

— Claus Pedersen, organist, Ellevang Church

We often pair up with church choirs, and with great results. The host church feels that it’s more a part of the concert, you get the dynamic of the shifts from Duo Barazz to choir and vice-versa, and you are more likely to draw a large crowd.

We prize: the conscious exchange between the contemplative and the comedic.

We stay: true to our vision and the music.

We are: dedicated to creating an extraordinary concert experience every time.

We love: crowd interaction, as it is an important element in any concert featuring Duo Barazz.

You take a New Year’s concert, add Lára on the organ (plus a number of other instruments) and Dorthe on the saxophone, and you’ve got the perfect recipe for whimsy, wonder, variety, a wide repertoire and, not least, a whopping level of musicality.

These two musicians know each other so well that their interplay simply speaks volumes in terms of musicality and ingenuity.

Lotte Bille Glæsel, organist, Sønderbro Church
